By traversing through Tengboche (3,860 m), Pheriche (4,280 m), Lobuche (5,020 m), and Gorakshep (5,170 m), the Everest Base Camp can be reached.

The Mt. Everest looks so close that you would wonder if you could touch it with your hand outstretched. From there, you shall return to Gorakshep to stay overnight. Meanwhile, next day, early morning, Ascending to Kalapatthar offers the opportunity to witness the most staggering view of the sunrise. When the fresh rays of sun hit the mountains, you shall be arrested for a while. Returning back to Gorakshep, you will trek towards Dingboche, which is at 6-7 hours walking distance. Traversing through Chukkung, the journey continues to the Island Peak base camp. The following day involves ascending to the summit of the Island Peak.

Upon reaching the summit, savoring the panoramic view of mountains and landscape becomes a memorable experience. Subsequently, a descent back to the base camp ensues. Continuing the journey, retracing steps through Pangboche/Tengboche back to Namche Bazar unfolds. Further, the expedition progresses via Manju and Phakding until reaching Lukla. At this juncture, your guide and porter(s) part ways, providing an opportunity for a potential celebration to mark the successful completion of the trek and climbing. Finally, return the journey to Kathmandu concludes with catching a flight.

At the top of the Island Peak

Stepping onto the summit of Island Peak, a breathtaking panorama unfolds, revealing majestic peaks such as Lhotse (8,501 m), Nuptse (7,879 m), Lhotse Shar (8,383 m), Lhotse Central (8,410 m), Makalu (8,475 m), Baruntse (7,129 m), Amadablam (6,812 m), and more.
