Annapurna Circuit Trek is the most popular trekking in the Annapurna Region. After finishing the Hindu Temple, we drive to the Buddhist Stupa “Bouddhanath Stupa”. Bouddhanath Stupa is considered the Largest Stupa in the World listed on UNESCO Heritage Sites. In the past, it was considered the gateway for the Nepal-Tibet trade business. We will visit Bouddhanath Stupa and around the museum.
After Bouddhanath Stupa, we drive to another Boddhist Temple “Swayambhunath Stupa”. The place is at the top of a hill cliff between the jungle. As it lies between the jungle, there are more monkeys so the place is also called the “Monkey Temple’. It is the combination of Buddhist places and Hindu places that defines the diversity among the religions in Nepal.
After completing Swayambhunath Stupa, we drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square and explore. It is a combination of Cultural and Historical museums for every traveler. We will visit Living Goddess “Kumari”, Museum, and many more surrounding temples and finally back to the hotel and prepare for your next day trip
After having breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Besisahar on Prithivi Highway up to Dumre leave the highway, and turn the road towards Lamjung. After reaching Besisahar; the headquarters of Lamjung district, we take some rest and continue the drive to Chamje. We will see many mountains like Lamjung Himal, Peak 29 (Nadi Chuli), Manaslu, and other mountains as well as small settlement areas. Overnight at Guest House
Early Morning after breakfast, we trek through the small village. First, we cross the first suspension bridge among many and walk through the bank of the Marshyangdi River. We crossed the small village Tal Village and continued our journey to Dharapani. As per our time, we stop at Dharapani or Just walk a few minutes and overnight at Bhulbhule.
Today marks the beginning of our trek towards Chame. So after having breakfast, we trek along the way, We will come across the villages of Bagarchhap, Danaque, Timang, and Koto. Bagarchhap is renowned for its Tibetan-influenced architecture and picturesque surroundings. Danaque offers a glimpse into the local customs and traditions, while Timang presents awe-inspiring mountain vistas. Koto acts as the entrance to the Nar Phu Valley. Today marks the commencement of the Annapurna Circuit trek, an adventure that promises both difficulty and beauty. During our journey, we will allocate a day for acclimatization in Manang, a charming village situated at the base of Annapurna III. This location offers breathtaking views of both Gangapurna and Annapurna. Early morning, hike up to Gangapurna Lake and spend the day admiring Annapurna III, Tilicho, Pisang, and Chulu Peaks, and roam around Manang Village and Monasteries. You have the opportunity to take a stroll to Ice Lake for acclimatization purposes. The route to Ice Lake, locally known as Kicho Tal, winds its way along the picturesque northern slopes of Chulu East. Take your time to soak in the tranquil and delightful ambiance before returning to Manang. Don’t forget to capture some memorable pictures along the way.
Starting from the village of Manang, the path winds its way along a scenic stream and climbs towards the delightful village of Tenki. Continuing our journey, we follow the trail as it ascends even higher, leaving the Marshyangdi Valley behind and turning northwest towards the captivating valley of Jarsang Khola. Here, we are welcomed by the peaceful beauty of meadows and groups of juniper trees, steadily climbing and immersing ourselves in the tranquility of the environment. we cross the local village, local forest, and suspension bridge and ascend and descend to reach Yak Kharka.
Our adventure will commence towards Throng Phedi, a lively village that provides for tired trekkers and mountaineers. We walk uphill with an amazing view of mountains and landscapes. On our way, we get the best views of Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak and Mt. Khatungkan. It acts as a starting point for different teams, such as ours. Meanwhile, a few individuals from our party might opt to trek to the High Camp today to simplify the following day.
We embarked on our ascent at the break of dawn, preparing ourselves for the challenging initial climb. As we neared the mountain pass, the path became slippery and slushy due to the melting snow. After maneuvering through rugged ridges, we finally reached the pinnacle at an impressive altitude of 5416m. The awe-inspiring panoramic vista of snow-capped peaks and the magnificent Kali Gandaki gorge rendered us speechless. Descending steeply, we eventually arrived at the revered Muktinath (3800m), a sacred site that embodies a tapestry of diverse cultures. It was a day filled with remarkable accomplishments, offering us breathtaking natural beauty and a profound cultural experience.
After having breakfast at the hotel, we hike to Muktinath Temple; the religious sites of Hindu and Buddhist people. Nearby Muktinath Temple, there is a Buddha Statue and some decorations. A natural burning flame of Natural Gas is also there. we visit all those places and continue to drive to Pokhara.
On the way to Pokhara, there is a natural hot water spring called Tatopani. We will spend some hours in Tatopani enjoying hot water. It is believed that While taking the swim on Tatopani, the Skin disease may be swept by Hot water. In the late afternoon, we drive to Pokhara and overnight
After breakfast at Pokhara Hotel, we do some sightseeing in Pokhara city. We will go boating on Phewa lake and visit Devi’s falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and World Peace Pagoda. And conclude the city sightseeing.
After breakfast at Pokhara Hotel, we can drive back to Kathmandu which takes 7-8 hrs. On the way you can go rafting on the White Running River called Trishuli (Not Included in the Package). Our company provides you farewell dinner with our Guide.
After breakfast at the Kathmandu hotel, we will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport as per your flight status for final Departure.
Mid-February to early May is viewed as the best time for traveling the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Throughout this period, the temperature will not be much high. Also this is the time for grooming National flowers “Rhododendron so, The blooming rhododendrons enhance the scenery with their full blossoms. Expect a high chance of clear skies, more snow in the Sky due to winter and excellent visibility. Where as another season starts from late September to early December. This is the time where Rainfall just finished so have great chance of clear sky with rippled cultivated crops like wheat, paddy and millet. So this is the time for ripped crops harvesting time so we found many farmers on their cultivated land. The climate is stable, with cool temperatures that are not excessively cold. This period is also popular for trekking in the Annapurna Region.
From Mid February, the temperature rises up from 4-10 degrees in Kathmandu valley but the temperature below 10 degrees in Mountain Region. As the winter just finished, there is few degree of coldness in mountain region so warm clothes are mandatory. After September, the temperature is above 15 degree so no need of very warm clothes. As we are going on high Himalayas, so night might be cold, so day time, a very thin clothes are enough but during night, we need small thin jackets/sweater is needed.
There are quite a lot of food facilities in the Annapurna region. The Nepali Local food and cuisines to international cuisines are relevant in these areas. The local food such as Dal-Bhat(Lentil Soup) and (Rice) is a typical Nepali often served with vegetables and pickles and is served with meat such as (chicken, mutton) etc. International food comprises Western and continental dishes
