Detail Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Paro (2280m) from Kathmandu, Nepal.

Arrive at Paro International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Explore the National Museum of Bhutan and Paro Rinpung Dzong.

Day 2 - Paro to Thimphu.

Drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Explore Tashichho Dzong, a fortress monastery, and visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue and Changangkha Lhakhang temple.

Day 3 - Thimphu to Punakha.

Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass. Explore Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s oldest and largest dzongs. Hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the Fertility Temple.

Day 4 - Punakha to Gangtey.

Drive to Gangtey, a scenic valley in central Bhutan. Visit Gangtey Monastery (Gangtey Gonpa) and hike in the Phobjikha Valley to observe local wildlife.

Day 5 - Gangtey to Bumthang.
