Detail Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Paro from Kathmandu, transfer to Thimphu.

Upon arrival in Paro from Kathmandu, Nepal, you will be greeted by your tour guide and transferred to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. After settling in at your hotel, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the city, visiting the local markets, and trying delicious Bhutanese cuisine.

Day 2 - Thimphu Sightseeing.

After breakfast, you will visit some of the most popular attractions in Thimphu, including the National Memorial Chorten, the Changangkha Lhakhang, the Folk Heritage Museum, and the Tashichho Dzong.

Day 3 - Thimphu to Punakha.

Today, you will travel to Punakha, a beautiful valley town located about 77 kilometers from Thimphu. On the way, you will stop at Dochula Pass, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas. Once you reach Punakha, you will visit the Punakha Dzong, a beautiful fortress located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.

Day 4 - Punakha to Paro.

After breakfast, you will drive back to Paro, stopping at the beautiful Simtokha Dzong on the way. In Paro, you will visit the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery, one of the most iconic landmarks in Bhutan. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Paro Valley and visit some of the local markets and shops.

Day 5 - Departure.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Paro International Airport for your flight back home.
