Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel. You can take some rest or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel.
We take an early morning flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Khumbu region. After meeting our trekking crew, we start our trek and pass through the beautiful settlements of Chaurikharka, Chheplung, and Ghat before reaching Phakding.
The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River and we cross several suspension bridges along the way. After a steep climb, we reach Namche Bazaar, a bustling town and the commercial hub of the Khumbu region.
To avoid altitude sickness, we spend a day in Namche Bazaar and explore the town. We can visit the Sherpa Culture Museum, the Everest Photo Gallery, and hike up to the Everest View Hotel for stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas.
We follow a steep trail that offers beautiful views of the surrounding peaks and pass through several villages before reaching our lodge in Tashinga.
We continue our trek and pass through beautiful rhododendron forests and yak pastures before reaching Khumjung, a traditional Sherpa village. We can visit the Khumjung Monastery and the Khunde Hospital established by Sir Edmund Hillary.
We descend to the Dudh Koshi River and follow the trail to Monjo, a small village located near the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park.
We trek back to Lukla and spend the rest of the day exploring the town and sharing memories with our trekking crew.
We take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu and spend the rest of the day at leisure. We can explore the vibrant streets of Thamel or visit some of the popular landmarks in the city.
