Detail Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft).

Upon arrival at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the vibrant city of Kathmandu.

Day 2 - Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft) - 7 hours.

After breakfast, we will drive to Syabrubesi, the trek’s starting point. Enjoy the scenic countryside and winding mountain roads. Overnight stay in Syabrubesi.

Day 3 - Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft) - 6 hours.

The trek starts with a gentle climb through a forest of oak, rhododendron, and bamboo. Passing through villages and crossing suspension bridges, we’ll reach Lama Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3,430m/11,253ft) - 6-7 hours.

Continuing the trek, we follow the Langtang River, ascending through dense forests. Enjoy the first views of Langtang Lirung (7,246m/23,773ft) along the way. Overnight stay in Langtang village.

 

Day 5 - Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft) - 4-5 hours.

From Langtang village, we’ll trek to Kyanjin Gompa, a Buddhist monastery and village. Enroute, we’ll encounter water mills, prayer wheels, and chortens. Enjoy stunning views of Langtang Lirung, the Langtang range, and other peaks from Kyanjin Gompa. Overnight stay in Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 6 - Rest day and exploration in Kyanjin Gompa.

Today is a rest day to explore the surroundings of Kyanjin Gompa. Hike to the top of Tserko Ri (5,033m/16,512ft) for panoramic views of the Langtang range and other peaks. Visit the monastery and cheese factory in Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 7 - Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel - 6-7 hours.

We will retrace our steps back to Lama Hotel, passing through Langtang village and dense forests. We will spend the night in Lama Hotel.

Day 8 - Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2,230m/7,316ft) - 6-7 hours.

Today’s trek will take us through forests of oak, maple, and rhododendron. We will pass by several small villages and have panoramic views of the Langtang range. We will spend the night in Thulo Syabru.

Day 9 - Thulo Syabru to Shin Gompa (3,330m/10,925ft) - 4-5 hours.

Today, we ascend to Shin Gompa (Sing Gompa) while passing a chorten and a checkpoint. From the hilltop, enjoy stunning views of Langtang Himal and the Gosainkunda range.

Day 10 - Shin Gompa to Gosaikunda (4,460m/14,632ft), 5-6 hours trek.

We climb through rhododendron forests and streams, transitioning to alpine vegetation. En route to the sacred Gosaikunda lake, we encounter small lakes. Legend has it that Lord Shiva created this lake by piercing a glacier with his trident.

Day 11 - Gosaikunda to Ghopte (3,430m/11,250ft) via Lauribinayak Pass (4,610m/15,120ft), 6-7 hours trek.

Today is the longest and most challenging day as we cross the Lauribinayak Pass, the trek’s highest point. The steep and rocky trail is rewarded with breathtaking Himalayan views. We descend to Phedi and then climb to Ghopte.

Day 12 - Ghopte to Kutumsang (2,446m/8,020ft), 6-7 hours.

We continue our descent through forests and villages, immersing ourselves in the local culture and lifestyle of the Tamang people, Finally, we reached Kutumsang, immersing ourselves in the local culture and lifestyle of the Tamang people. Finally, we reach Kutumsang, a charming village with stunning mountain views.

Day 13 - Kutumsang (2,470m / 8,560ft) to Chisopani.

From Kutumsang, the trail ascends briefly before descending to Gul Bhanjyang (2140m) village. Continuing upward, you reach Thorong Danda (2500m) on a dusty road, followed by a steep and rocky path to Chipping village, eventually descending to Pati Bhanjyang (1760m) and onward to the renowned Chisopani, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 14 - Chisopani (2,295m / 7,655ft) to Sundarijal (1380m / 4530ft) and drive to Kathmandu.

After passing through the Shivapuri National Park checkpoint following a brief stroll from Chisopani, you descend down a broad road, ascend a paved path, and traverse past water reservoirs and large pipes, ultimately arriving at Sundarijal (1460m). Here, you bid farewell to the trails and opt for local transport to Kathmandu.

Day 15 - Departure.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. This concludes the Nepal Tour.
