There will also be many tea houses selling the standard Western options such as pasta, pancakes, and sandwiches. As you climb further up, the more limited these choices will be tied up in the menu, but you can always expect the hearty meals to have the fuel necessary for your hike. It is a great idea to carry some snacks like energy bars, nuts, chocolates, or dried fruits for a long trekking day.
Water
When trekking, the consumption of water is essential. You can buy bottled water in the tea houses found all along the trail but, most importantly, opt for environmentally-friendly reusable bottles.
